Car Amplifier

A power amplifier has an input signal, usually a preamp level signal, which is low current and low voltage characteristics, and produces an output with higher levels of voltage and current. The power supply is available for audio output in an IC unit is limited to the battery voltage of the vehicle. This means that the unit can produce an audio signal with a limited number (for the battery voltage) from voltage fluctuations, and therefore a limited output of the speaker. Most of the amps with a circuit board (change of power supply) to increase the available battery / charging system voltage to a higher voltage. The greater tension developed within the amplifier switching power supply allows the output voltage swing of audio to be higher. This enables the power amplifier to produce more on the speakers connected to the output terminals of the amplifier.
